Welcome to Quad. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Quad mobile application, the Quad for Business web portal, and related websites and services (together, the “Service”), operated under the domain protergates.com (“Quad”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Quad student app is for members of a recognised university community and generally requires a valid university email address for verification. The Quad for Business portal is for organisations posting opportunities such as jobs, internships, scholarships, housing, discounts and events. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You retain ownership of the posts, images, listings and other content you submit (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content you grant Quad a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to host, store, display and distribute it within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving Quad. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Student verification, events, and business listings are reviewed by Quad before they appear publicly. We may approve, reject, edit, remove, or restrict any content or account at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms. Verification confirms university affiliation only and is not an endorsement of any user.
Organisations posting through Quad for Business are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, and for any hiring, admissions, payment or other dealings that result. Quad is a platform for connecting students and organisations; we are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any agreement made between them.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Quad and protected by intellectual‑property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name or logo without prior written permission.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quad is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for content posted by users or organisations. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
